AI-native Design and Product Studio
Sierra Vista Studio Platform
Sierra Vista Studio is my own design and product practice. The work was to turn the website, positioning, documentation, and implementation workflow into a coherent platform I can maintain and evolve.
This case shows the real build: information architecture, content structure, Astro implementation, design system decisions, and an AI-assisted production workflow. It does not claim client results or an agency transformation.
Project Overview
Sierra Vista Studio needed a website that could explain the practice, show selected work, and support future content without becoming a fragile one-off build. The project combined brand positioning, content structure, design direction, documentation, and Astro implementation.
My Role
I worked as founder, product designer, UX/UI designer, content architect, and front-end implementer. I also defined the documentation and AI-assisted workflow used to keep design and implementation aligned.
The Challenge
The main challenge was making the studio feel clear and serious without overexplaining the offer or relying on generic AI-service language.
Design Process
I started by clarifying the page structure and the proof needed for a serious product-design audience. Then I shaped the visual system, reusable sections, and work-case model. Finally, I implemented the site in Astro and used documentation to keep future changes consistent.
Solution
The final solution is a static Astro site with a compact home experience, selected work cards, case-study pages, about and contact routes, design tokens, reusable components, and project documentation that supports ongoing iteration.
Depth
What was complex about Sierra Vista Studio, and what I helped clarify.
- The site needed to explain the studio clearly without turning into a generic agency portfolio.
- The design system and documentation had to support ongoing iteration.
- AI could speed up production, but the final structure still needed human judgment.
- The service and proof structure for the studio.
- The core pages and reusable content patterns.
- A workflow where AI supports production without owning the design decisions.
Created a maintainable platform foundation for the studio, with clearer positioning, reusable structure, and a production workflow that can keep evolving.
